I love hot water and heat..they truly help me. I have myofascial pain and ma seeing a MRT who has been trained in the John Barnes method. I have questions at times and need someone to ask. Please advise. thank you Gerry Lavery
ReplyI have a trigger points on my left side..hip and buttocks. I have been treated by a therapist who has used shock..didn’t work. Then they used dry needleing then dry needleing with electric shock. It only last about an hour with relief. The pain is so bad I can only walk a limited distance. I am in my 8th week of pain. I have 2 more sessions this week and I believe the results will be the same HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDo stretches 3 times a day count each stretch for 30 seconds. A soak in a bath for the last stretches of the does wonders. You need help yourself. I have been seeing a Physio for 3 years. She uses acupuncture and manipulation then a massage. The treatment lasts one hour. She told me to do stretches and I bought a book with stretching exercises. I am nearly pain free and it’s heaven. But I have had to put a lot of work into at home I just wanted to be normal. When we have an injury we compensate. This cause lots of other problems. I also use a roller that helps to release myo fascia tension and breaks down trigger points. I bought from Amazon.
ReplyA five minute top to toe stretching routine in the shower as demonstrated by Jonathan makes perfect sense – great way to start the day! Many thanks.
