Sleep Recovery – Pain Management 6

by Jonathan

Another key aspect of managing pain is getting your sleep back. There is a negative downward spiral that occurs when you don’t exercise because of pain. When you don’t exercise you use less energy, making it less likely that you’ll be tired enough to sleep. If pain is making it hard to sleep, then you’ll feel more tired the next day, and less inclined to exercise.

So incremental, gentle and regular exercise is part of the key to breaking this cycle. In this video we go over several strategies you can employ (in addition to exercise) to get back into a healthy resting cycle.
